For a long time the masses in communities
like mine have never had a chance at
airing their voices, yet they would
have some things to say
concerning their lives.
This blog discusses
how we can uplift
communities at the
grassroots, and begin
addressing some of their
important issues and concerns.

RECYCLING 4CHANGE
New life in Africa engages its community members on craft making. 99% of their craft products are made from recycling materials like all paper beads products from old magazines. We also make bangles, earrings and hand bags from polythene bags. Quilts from old T-shirts, Baskets from banana fiber and other natural materials. Besides the community makes shopping bags and Christmas ornaments from bottle tops. Shopping bags, baskets and mats from straw mats. And many others.
Through this, we are not only helping the community to generate income but also protecting our environment. your purchase of our craft products help our members buy house holds, pay rent ,meet medical bills and send their children to school. Before the invasion of crafts4change, since most of our community members are composed of people displaced by war from Northern Uganda, they were mostly working on the stone quarry cracking stones from sun rise to sun set earning less than a dollar a day!
